Opened in 1986, Belmont Town Restaurant has grown into a very reputable and well-known business in the community for providing delicious, fresh, home-made meals to thousands of guests + events each year. In 1988, Belmont Town Restaurant expanded and became a fully functioning Restaurant and Catering business and is named as London's Best Buffet Restaurant, Take Out (Thanks to COVID for this new venture) + Caterer 2019+2020+2021 (Viewers Choice Awards). Since then, Belmont Catering’s reputation has grown immensely and averages multiple weddings each Saturday, making us unique to the industry. At Belmont Catering we pride ourselves on ensuring each client receives the highest standard of quality ingredients and customer service.

Belmont Town Restaurant and Catering is owned and operated by Paul Sfakianos and his two daughters, Anna and Cassandra. In 1953, Paul was born on a small, southern Greek island called Nisyros. Located in the Dodecanese islands, Paul learned the nature of hard work, dedication and loyalty as the 5th born of 15 siblings. At 16 years old Paul left Nisyros to serve his time in the Greek army where his passion for cooking begun. Everyday Paul would prepare and cook meals for over 1000 Greek soldiers and spent 4 years in Northern Athens serving his country. At the age of 24, Paul moved to Canada with his sister Popi and family. After working a few years at a factory in London, Paul was exposed to an opportunity to purchase what is now, Belmont Town Restaurant. Paul knew his passion for cooking and working in the service industry was where his future belonged. In order to do so, Paul spent long overnight shifts at
WHO WE ARE?
the factory and rushed straight to the restaurant to open for 6 am. Although the days were long and exhausting, Paul knew it would one day pay off.
35 years later, Paul has built more than he had ever imaged and dedicates much of his success to his sister Popi, who has been by his side since they were children. During his 35 years in business, Paul’s hard work and passion is shown through the overwhelming support and success in the community. Paul's passion is shown everyday and the lifelong friendships he has built with customers over the years. You are much more than just a customer to Paul, Anna and Cassandra and appreciate the support over the years that have lead us to today.
